Katie Botts

I just completed my 1500 hours on 2/18/2026. I passed state board and received my cosmetology license on 3/25/26. I love doing layered cuts, color, and wedding updos. I love helping to make people feel their best and I believe listening goes a long way. This is a career change for me, I got my bachelor's degree in speech and hearing science and spent the last 7 years working with people that have developmental disabilities. I eventually reached a crossroad where I either needed to go back for more schooling or choose a different path. I ended up going with cosmetology because I loved doing hair on the side for weddings. It was the best decision I have ever made! I truly feel this is the profession for me.
