My name is Katie and I am 23 years old. I am full of energy and I channel it into everything that I am passionate about. I have been on an intricate journey to find the right career fit for me over the past few years

In 2021, my husband and I got married and relocated to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. We lived in NC for 3 years to support his career in the United States Marine Corps. During this time, I attended The Ohio State University through distance learning and graduated with my Associates of Art degree in the summer of 2024

In November of 2024, I decided to move back to Ohio to pursue my passions in cosmetology and attend Paul Mitchell the School in Columbus. I have always felt pressured to narrow my interests down to one specialty to pursue a career. Having many creative interests, I felt there were too many to choose from and I wasn’t sure how to pick. However, I believe I can finally express many of my interests at once in cosmetology. I am very passionate about being creative in many different forms. I love creating artwork, creating beautiful hair transformations, and creating fun social media content that showcases my art forms! I love connecting with clients about their lives and creating a second home for them in my chair.

 I am certified in Babe Hair Extensions (tape- in, sew- in, k-tips, and I-tips) and Dulce Lash Artistry Eyelash Extensions.

I am an active member of the Paul Mitchell Student Body. I am a member of the Be Nice or Else Club and the Social Media Club. I have completed Color Honors, Cutting Honors, Short Hair Cutting Honors, Makeup Honors and Texture Honors. I am currently Completing Dean's List as well. I have also participated in off campus events as a member of the Paul Mitchell Makeup Team for fashion shows such as; OSU Unchained, OSU FPA, CCAD, and NC4K.
