About me
I’m a cutting educator with 25 years behind the chair and a career rooted in strong fundamentals, clarity, and confidence.
I spent 18 years with TIGI / Toni & Guy, where I worked as a Regional Director of Education and Creative Director, training stylists at every stage of their careers. My passion has always been teaching why a haircut works, not just how to execute it; so stylists can create consistent, repeatable results in the salon.
I’ve also owned and operated a salon, which shaped how I teach: practical, respectful of time, and immediately applicable behind the chair. My approach blends structured cutting systems with personalization, helping stylists build skill, intuition, and trust in their work.
Education isn’t just my job ; it’s who I am. Outside of hair, I tutor beginning pilots and support education for children with autism, including my son. Those experiences deeply influence my calm, patient, and methodical teaching style.

Why I'm here
I’m here because cutting education matters and there’s a real need for it. I found the lagging gap most recently as an account manager for Sweis Inc. I spent time in most salons in the Vehas valley and the most common need was education, and many brands lack in hair cutting education.
So many stylists are hungry for clarity, not trends for the sake of trends. They want to understand shape, balance, sectioning, and how to personalize haircuts for real people sitting in their chairs every day.
I’m here to share education that’s grounded, honest, and usable; whether that’s foundational cutting, advanced refinement, or helping stylists reconnect with confidence in their craft. I believe great education supports both the stylist and the client, creating better hair in the salon and at home.
Beautista feels like a space where education, integrity, and community meet and that’s exactly where I want to be.
