Katie Santos

Hi there! My name is Katie Santos and I am currently a student at the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC. Before attending the Aveda Institute, I attended Appalachian State University and obtained my Business Management degree. Although I loved furthering my education at Appalachian State, I found a passion for the beauty industry throughout my time working as a receptionist at Canvas Beauty Bar in Boone, NC. During my time working for Canvas, I developed strong bonds with both my employers and colleuges who encouraged me to follow my dreams of becoming a hair stylist. Along with supporting my passions, they inspired me to become a better woman and to work hard until I am able to reach my goals. I will forever be grateful for the group of women who uplifted me and cannot wait to see what the industry has in store for me!
