I am a womans woman! I fully believe that empowered women, empower women. I got into the industry for one simple reason - I like feeling confident in myself and I like giving that feeling to people around me. When I was a freshman in high-school I got a terrible haircut that completely drained me of my confidence. My hair is naturally very course, thick, and wavy. So when I got my hair cut above my ears, it blew up like an old lady fro! Terrible. The only thing I could do was wait for it grow out, which in turn made it look even worse. I had a mushroom on my head. Later down the road, I met an extension specialist and brand owner and she hooked me up with 220 grams of her luxury tape-in extensions along with a fresh cut and first time balayage! It was a complete transformation. She made me feel the most beautiful and confident I have ever felt! It changed my outlook on the beauty industry and I don’t think I could ever forget that feeling she gave me when I looked in the mirror. Ever since then, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Ive always been passionate about makeup and beauty so it just made sense. I was freelancing during my high-school career as a MUA for prom, homecoming, and photography, just waiting to graduate so I could enroll at Paul Mitchell Jax. Now Im so close to graduating beauty school and getting my license it feels like I can reach out and grab it! Ive learned so much from school and the people around me, I feel like a changed person. I know Ill be taking continued education classes to become a blonding & extension specialist, and taking a lash class to become a certified lash tech. My goal is to own a salon and offer full service and Im interested in performing facials and doing acrylic/poly gel manicures. As soon as I graduate Id like to assist for up to a year for more salon experience and find my salon home! “ GRACE & HUSTLE “ ✨
