About me
I am currently a student at PCI Academy in Ames, Iowa, where I am pursuing my education in cosmetology and am set to graduate in May 2026. My journey in the beauty industry is driven by a strong passion for helping others feel confident, radiant, and empowered. As a cosmetologist, my mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and uplifting environment for every client who sits in my chair. I believe that beauty is deeply personal, and I strive to provide services that reflect each client’s individuality and vision.
Looking ahead, I aspire to own and operate my own salon, where creativity, inclusivity, and self-expression are at the heart of the experience. I am especially passionate about vivid hair colors and plan to specialize in these vibrant, statement-making looks. I am excited to continue growing my skills, building lasting relationships with clients, and ultimately creating a space where artistry and empowerment go hand in hand.

Why I'm here
I’ve had a passion for the beauty industry from a young age, inspired in part by my aunt, a cosmetologist. I started braiding hair as a child—practicing on dolls, friends, and teammates—and quickly developed a love for creating styles that made others feel confident and cared for. While I originally pursued psychology in college, I realized I could combine my creativity and compassion through cosmetology.
Now a student at PCI Academy, I’m focused on building a career that allows me to connect with clients on a personal level while helping them look and feel their best.
