Kayla Bays

Hello!

My name is Kayla but I go by Kay. I am a Color Specialist/ Blonde Specialist/ Salon Manager at Empress Beauty Salon in Warsaw, IN. 

My passion for this industry started when I was just a teenager. I learned how to color and highlight my own hair. Before long I Was coloring my friends hair too! Since graduating high school, I attended the cosmetology program at Regency beauty Institute in Mishawaka, Indiana. Since graduating I have helped with numerous local fashion shows and photo shoot.

I've worked with a number of professional brands as an influencer on my professional Instagram. In 2019 I was even a hair model for Larisa Love on center stage of the American beauty show in Chicago Illinois. This was especially fun because I got to meet a number of talented celebrity artist, including Guy Tang himself! Ever since watching Larisa on stage, I knew that I wanted to share my passion and knowledge by teaching. 

Nowadays you can catch me in the salon, helping other stylist learn and achieve new color formulas, come up with new creative cut ways to cut and stand out in social media. My IG is @Kaylabaysbeauty 

When I'm not at the salon, I'm usually hanging out with family , enjoying outdoor activities, playing video games with my girl friends or doing something craft related. I love to be busy!
