Kayla Davidson

My name is Kayla Davidson and I am from Atlanta, Georgia. I chose to be a Master Cosmetologist so that I could express my creativity through hair, nails and makeup. I originally attended Clayton State University from 2018-2020. I wanted to become a neonatal nurse, but eventually realized I wasn’t passionate about it. My mom was a registered nurse and that initially influenced my decision to go into nursing. I started doing my hair in middle school and other people’s hair and nails in college. I would typically do silk presses. In 2020, during the pandemic, I learned how to do knotless braids, quick weaves, butterfly locs and acrylic nails. Since then I have been perfecting my skills. I want to learn how to do sew ins and other types of extensions. I also want to master cuts and color. About a year ago my sister pushed me to go to Cosmetology school and I started in November of 2023.
