Kayla Duecker

My passion for working with hair developed when I was a teenager. I started experimenting with dying and cutting my own hair at home when hairdressers failed to nail that edgy style I was hoping for. Many of my peers started coming to me with requests to do their hair once they learned I was doing my own hair at home. I started to realize how much I loved making everyone's hair dreams come true for them.

Now I get to do the same thing I've always loved, only now I am armed with the skills that have come along with my education. The very best feeling is helping someone transform into the most confident version of themselves and that is what drives my motivation to continue sharpening my skills as a stylist. 

Creating hair magic for my guest always starts with them being able to feel safe and comfortable while in my chair. Building that foundation and trust helps me to better understand my guests vision to make their hair dreams a reality. It means so much to me to see my guests leave with a beautiful, confident aura radiating from them. 

I am dedicated to continuing my education outside of school, and hope to keep adding to my skill set. I am eager to continue to learn and grow so that I can be my best for my current and future guest alike.
