About me
Hi! My name is Kayla and I'm currently a student at Paul Mitchell The School in Denver, CO. I've lived in northern Colorado my whole life, but just moved to downtown Denver about a year and a half ago. I like hanging out with my friends, going to see movies, playing tennis, and playing with my pets. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for me!

Why I'm here
I'm here because I've always had a passion for hair, makeup, nails, etc. I was in school for business for a year when I realized that I wasn't doing what I really wanted to do with my life- which was hair. I think the hesitation stemmed from being nervous about what my friends and family would think about me switching from business school to beauty school. Putting those feelings aside, I scheduled a tour at Paul Mitchell and instantly fell in love with the environment. I quickly realized that I needed to put myself first and not care about what others think. A few months later I started school, and now I'm a couple hundred hours in and loving it more everyday.
