Kayla Simmons

Hi! My name is Kayla Simmons, and I’m currently a cosmetology student at Twin City Beauty College. When I first started cosmetology school, my goal was to pursue a career as a nail tech. Since being here, though, I’ve discovered a new passion for creating custom hair colors, and I’ve absolutely loved getting to explore that side of cosmetology!

A little bit about me—I’m a mommy to my daughter, Saylor Mae, and a military wife. I’ve lived in Berrien Springs my entire life and absolutely love Michigan, despite the cold, cold winters!

I’ve always been a creative person, so pursuing a career in cosmetology honestly feels like a perfect fit for me. Outside of the salon, I love to sing and write my own music, which has always been such a big part of my life. I’m also the oldest of eight siblings, and I wouldn’t change having such a big family for the world.

I’m so excited to continue growing my skills, creating beautiful looks, and getting to know all of the amazing people who sit in my chair. I would absolutely love to have you in my chair, and I can’t wait to meet you! Don’t forget to book with me! ♡
