I came out of high school and went straight into college to be a CNA for a bit. I loved helping others and that career gave me that opportunity to do so.  What I didn't know is, I went to Aveda to help out a friend as a wax model, the second I walked in it's like it hit me. This is where I am supposed to be. I knew I loved hair, makeup, modeling, fashion, YOU NAME IT. Walking into Aveda has changed my life. I still get to help take care of others to feel good in this career. I've never been so certain about a career until now. I want to be a cosmetologist to help make others feel good about themselves, to help give back to the community and serve, to broaden my education and skills, to help educate others as well, and more importantly.. to HELP CHANGE THE WORLD! I love this career so much. This year I had the honor to attend Beacon 2020 in Long Beach, CA. It has been the most amazing experience of my life. Beacon has changed my perspective on everything. I'm ready to expand and test my skills! Let's change mine and each others lives!
