Mission:
Maquillage Detroit exists to redefine beauty culture by centering and celebrating people of color. We provide education, artistry, and community programs that empower individuals to embrace their beauty, build industry skills, and access new opportunities in the beauty sector. Through storytelling, training, and cultural innovation, we transform beauty into a tool for self-realization, economic empowerment, and legacy-building.
Vision:
We envision a world where Detroit stands as a global leader in beauty innovation, representation, and artistry. Maquillage Detroit will be the bridge between heritage and modernity uplifting Black beauty history while creating pathways for the next generation of artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to thrive.
