About me
Hello, I'm Kelly! I am originally from the Chicago area and newer to Greenville. I am a people person and happiest when surrounded by others. On the weekend, you might find me eating brunch at Swamp Rabbit Cafe and going on a walk with my husband and two dogs. I have a new-found love for reading. I love to escape into a thriller or fiction novel with a coffee by my side. I attend weekly trivia and listen to podcasts constantly, as I am a self-proclaimed life long learner.
When assessing my character, I am empathetic, listen well, and strive to see the potential and dignity in all people. It is my hope that others others feel valued after an interaction with me. I honor the commitments that I make and am driven to achieve the goals I set. I am eager to connect with you and learn about employment opportunities within the industry.

Why I'm here
I was formerly a special education teacher for elementary aged students. In pursuing a new career in cosmetology, I am continuing my journey in serving those around me.
I find joy in making others feel uplifted and seen. Through joining the field of cosmetology, I hope to merge my interests of serving others and advocacy for those with disabilities. It is my hope to grow in my skills and be able to serve clients of all abilities. It is a dream of mine to specialize in cutting and care for people with disabilities.
Through learning more about the industry, I have truly fallen in love with precision hair cutting. As I continue on my education journey, I hope to learn as much as possible, while searching for an environment that will allow me to continue to grow my skills beyond the clinic classroom.
