Future Professional Colour Enthusiast

I’m a queer non-binary person who has always been the “weird” one in school. My hair hasn’t been a natural colour since December 2015 simply because the feeling of being “different” empowers me.
I dropped out of engineering at Michigan Tech because my heart wasn’t in it. I ran a little salon in my dorm colouring people’s hair. After my mental health went took a turn because I just couldn’t get behind engineering like I could in high school.
After leaving, I thought about going to school for hair but I was in the fence. Deciding to finally attend Paul Mitchell has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
While attending Paul Mitchell, I discovered my passion for colour and I’ve never been happier.
Fin Fact: I forgot my stand for my practical portion of my boards and I still passed!

I live for the feeling after going to a salon, the confidence it gives people is a feeling I want to give others
