Kendyl Coburn

For as long as I can remember, I have been exploring and dabbling in each and every creative media that came my way. Naturally, this led me to attend CCAD to pursue a career in art and design. I studied 3D animation in my two years there, but as I got closer to graduation I couldn't help but feel as though something wasn't quite right. Although the industry would have fulfilled my creative passions, I knew it would be missing what I've loved so much about my previous jobs: people!

I grew up as a very introverted girl; for a long time I held my head down and kept to myself. As I faced my fears and met people along the way that helped me come out of my shell and find confidence in who I am, I fell in love with connecting with those around me. This was a love I could not fail to nurture when it came to choosing a career path.

The idea of a career that allows me to use my creative talents, but also allows me to connect with unique people each and every day... WOW! As soon as I began to entertain the thought of being a hairstylist, it felt as though every piece of the puzzle was falling into place. I am beyond excited to be starting this journey, and I cannot even begin to express my eagerness as to what the future has in store :)
