I chose cosmetology because, I wanted to be the first to achieve something special in my life when I graduated high school, I want to have my cosmetology license to show this is what im capable of ,making money and be in a great predicament that I can give back to the community .Cosmetology is my own dreams it desire me to express creativity, connect with people, and create the kind of opportunities that my sisters didn't have. Every step I take in this industry is a promise to myself: to rise, to grow, and to become the legacy of Cosmetology. I'm turning pain into purpose and creating a future I can be proud of.I want to be able to show my family and friends and even the people im surrounded around that no matter what don't ever stop going for what's makes you happy give encouraging words to lift them show them if I can do it so can you. show them how you can still go for what you want while going through difficult situations in your personal life.I grew up in a single parent household.I lost my father at a young age seeing my mom struggling trying to feed me and my sisters. life wasn't so great growing up but,I am a upcoming braiding stylist wanting to expand my business coming from a small city with really nothing but trouble surroundings while I was able to get a way.I got a way to make a difference in my life and in my children lives.I want to become great enough to give back making life greater for single moms even single dads with little girls. I would love to make a way to braid hair for single moms and show them that you can still look good and feel beautiful while going through your difficult times. I am willing to give back to my community,take a whole week doing free braiding styles for single parent. To anyone out there that's feeling discouraged. I want you to know you are the career its what ever you make it to be go big to reach the top remember success is the key to greatness. Always be prepared so you will not have to get prepared.
