With over 20+ years of hands-on experience in advanced haircare and a decade dedicated to educating future beauty professionals, I am deeply passionate about the art, science, and business of cosmetology. My career has been a journey of mastering techniques in salon management, hair styling, coloring, chemical texturizing, and extensions, all while delivering exceptional customer service. I believe that beauty is a transformative experience, and I strive to bring out the best in every client and student I work with.

In my role as an educator, I am driven not only to teach foundational and advanced cosmetology skills but also to equip stylists and salon owners with successful business practices. I want to help my students and industry peers thrive in their careers by understanding the business aspects of running a salon, building a client base, and maximizing profitability. Over the past 10 years, I’ve taught at institutions like Palm Beach State College and Florida Career College, combining practical skills with valuable business insights to prepare students for both State Board exams and their professional futures.

Alongside my teaching, I continue to serve clients through my freelance business, K.B. Hair Designs, providing designer haircare services, event styling, and personalized consultations. This dual focus allows me to stay connected to industry trends while also working toward my own goals of growth and success. I hold various industry certifications, including Mizani Non-Chemical Hair Straightening and Pravana Haircolor, and I have completed advanced workshops to enhance student engagement, retention, and career development.
