Kirsten Reed

I have had the pleasure of meeting extraordinarily powerful and impactful artists in my time at Paul Mitchell the school Columbus. My goal in the beauty industry is to inspire the next generation of creative minds to tap into their craft and to grow their skills early and often. I spent much of my adult life repressing my passions to chase a dream other than my own. I want to help young artists realize their value and encourage their beautifly unique contributions through peer mentorship and education.

While I ultimately hope to become an educator in the beauty industry, I am currently seeking opportunities to learn and grow my own craft. Someday I hope to teach future professionals in the loving and safe learning environment my education team has fostered for me. Creative minds require compassionate education with creative steps towards success; I hope to one day bridge the gap between collegiate and trade education for neurodivergent learners like myself. In the meantime, I wish to positively impact the reputation around our industry by encouraging other pink collar workers to own their accomplishments and uplift myself and my peers while we grind towards graduation!
