Hi, I’m Kyla Recktenwald! I’ve always had a love for all things hair—especially coloring and blonding. I'm a licensed cosmetologist. My favorite part of this industry is making people feel confident, beautiful, and empowered through customized hair transformations. When I’m not behind the chair or in class, I love spending time with my family and being outside—it's my favorite way to recharge!

I chose to pursue cosmetology because I’ve always had a passion for hair. There’s something so rewarding about helping people feel confident and beautiful through a personalized hair experience. Being in cosmetology school at Summit Salon Academy is allowing me to turn what I love into a career. I’m excited to keep growing my skills, connect with clients, and be part of an industry that celebrates creativity, individuality, and self-expression.
