About me
Hello! My name is Kyle King. I am currently an Instructor at The Salon Professional Academy in San Antonio, Texas. I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 12 years. When I am not teaching at the school or doing hair you can find me playing video games or hanging out with my puppy Walter.
Prior to starting my cosmetology career I was going to school to be a dance teacher. Then one day one of my friends who was in the cosmetology program at my college let me know that there was a spot open in the program. I transferred programs that day and the rest is history. Since getting my license I have had the privilege of not only working behind the chair, but also working in sales for a professional beauty supply. Here is where I found my passion for retail and product knowledge. After that I took that passion back to the salon where I became an educator where I would hire and train all the in coming hairstylist. As much as I loved being behind the chair, sharing my passion for this industry and teaching was my true calling.

Over the past two years I have had the privilege of sharing my passion with future professionals as an Educator at The Salon Professional Academy. Since then I have fallen in love with the culture and vision of the Redken brand. I am looking to take the next steps in my career and continue to share my passion with other professionals as a Redken Artist.
