About me
Hi guys! I'm Laney Hitt, a 19 year old small town girl with a passion for beautification. I lived in Pauls Valley, OK up until just recently when I moved to Norman to start my career journey at Paul Mitchell The School. My mother was a beautician as well and I grew up in her salon. Being around customers and hair every day made me super social and comfortable in a salon. I'm a quick learner, very determined, super passionate, and extremely creative. I love doing hair, especially vivid haircoloring. I also do eyelash extensions, tape-in extensions, facials, and makeup. I truly love what I do and put my all into it.
When I'm not doing hair, I spend time on my hobbies. I play golf, paint, bake and cook, and spend time with my cat and loved ones. I'm a big music lover, especially rock. I also love Italian food.
I'm so happy to be part of this industry filled with vibrancy, wonderful people, passion, care, drive, and a million other things.

Why I'm here
I simply love the industry! I love all hair types especially curly. I grew up not knowing how to fix my naturally wavy/curly hair. I always thought I had the worst hair ever. When I was a sophomore in high school, a co worker of my mother got me to start using Deva Curl products and taught me how to scrunch my hair. I learned to love my natural hair and would embrace rainy days instead of panic. I want to be able to educate people further on their natural hair types and how to properly care for them so they can learn to love their hair too. I want to make people proud of their appearance and feel beautiful.
