Since I was a little girl I always enjoyed experimenting with my own hair and makeup. My family could see how much I loved to do this and started to buy me my own makeup. When I got into middle school, I was one of very few girls that went to school with eyes and face done. The older I got the more I learned and the more I continued to hone my skills. By the time I was a freshman in high school, I knew I wanted to find a way to pursue this. Through talking to friends and staff in high school, I soon learned about the Morris County School of Technology and their Cosmetology program. By sophomore year I found myself applying. I was more nervous than ever if I would even get in. Where would I go from here if I didn't get in? I was 1 of over 150 applicants. By April/May of my sophomore year, I found out that I would be attending MCVTS in the fall of 2017. I was over the moon to be able to pursue my passions. By the time I was to graduate high school, I was set on a path to pass my state board and be a licensed Cosmetologist. I am now attending the Artistic Academy of Hair Design for Aesthetics. I plan on furthering myself in the beauty career by continuing education in years to come. I am more than happy to be able to help others feel good in their own skin and do what I love most!
