I am a mother to 4 who has decided to enter a 2nd career. This career has been my dream career since I was about 14 years old. My 1st career is in Radiology as a CT technologist. I have multiple degrees and just like being in school. All of my children are involeved in some sort of sport, so life is never dull. I am trying to show my children you're never too old to go for your dreams.

Why I'm here

I am because I refuse to allow anyone to continue to block me from what I have wanted to do since I was a kid. Working in the beauty industry has been my dream for as long as I can remember. My daughter asked me once, during lockdown from the pandemic, why I never followed through on this dream, and I had several answers that displayed allowing others to make my decisions for me. I did not want her to think that this was ok. I told her I would get into cosmetology school one day because it was what I wanted, and that a person shouldn't let others stop them from. So, here I am.
