About me
I graduated from Dunlap High School and have lived in the Peoria area for a majority of my life! I spent the past two years traveling around the world. The summer after High School graduation, I studied in Rome, Italy for a semester. After, I did humanitarian work all over South America. ✈️🏔️
I currently go to school at Summit Salon Academy in Peoria, IL. My major is Cosmetology. 💇🏼♀️
I have always had an interest in hair since I was a very young age, but I had no idea I would end up making it my career. I decided to give it a shot, because my world experiences taught me the ability to be confident and spontaneous. After beginning school, I grew extremely passionate for anything and everything hair!

Why I'm here
Since beginning Summit Salon Academy, I realized the structure and environmental needs I craved in my life. The school was able to provide this for me, and because of that, I am looking for an environment that values these same things as well. You can be great at what you do, but if you're not within a positive environment, you can not grow to your full potential.
I am working to grow my knowledge as broadly as possible. I believe that having an understanding for everything people do within my field will make me a valuable asset to not only my future employer, but myself as well. You are only as capable as you allow yourself to be. For me, there's no limit to creativity within myself, and this field.
