Hello amazing person, I'm Lauren Bienvenu. I am a student, Class of 2021! I'm 20 years old and I've been interested in Cosmetology since I was 11. If you want to get to know a little bit about me, here I go. Whenever I was a young child, I took my passion for art and expressed it each day. I eventually became a part of," The Louisiana Talented Arts Program". With every art show, project, or idea, I challenged myself. I fell in love with each medium of art, and then I found cosmetology. Fast forward a few years later,I started practicing hair and makeup in middle school. Let's just say it was a lot of trial and error. When I was 12 I may have cut a huge chunk out of my hair. Needless to say, it was all worth it. Today, I have chose to challenge myself once again. I've began my Cosmetology journey through AVEDA. My two favorite aspects in this world were making people feel better, and my passion for art. When I realized I could have a career based on that, my decision was clear. I believe in having fun with art while enhancing a persons beauty. Painting a persons face like a canvas, helping someone express themself, or simply growing a persons confidence by showing them their natural beauty, is what I strive to do.
