About me
My name is Lauren Caverly and I'm currently in school at the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. I'm from Raleigh, NC -born and raised- so I'm still close to home but I love to travel and see new places! I love live music and the beach. I've always enjoyed art and had a hand in the creative world but my excitement for beauty brought me to cosmetology school. I'm excited about what this next year of school brings and what my future will look like in this career field!

Why I'm here
I've always been artistic and imagined myself in a creative field, so I went to a University to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design. After 3 years through the program, an internship showed me that I was not cut out to be behind a computer as a career. I enjoy being around people and having conversations! My family encouraged me to look at cosmetology school as an alternative and I couldn't be more thankful! After 3 months into school, I'm thriving and happier than ever!
