Lauren Fasulo

I am a Rutgers University alumna with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Economics, as well as a licensed cosmetologist in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Throughout my career, I’ve blended my passion for beauty with my expertise in marketing to build a dynamic, multifaceted professional journey.

My education at Rutgers Business School equipped me with a strong foundation in business strategy, consumer behavior, and marketing—skills I have leveraged to navigate both the business and beauty worlds. I gained valuable insights through courses like Marketing Strategy, New Product Planning, and Social Media & Mobile Marketing, which have shaped my understanding of how brands connect with consumers.

After graduating in 2019, I pursued my cosmetology license at Metro Beauty Academy, where I completed 1,250 hours of training. This hands-on experience allowed me to hone my skills behind the chair and develop a deep understanding of customer service, salon operations, and the ever-evolving beauty industry. As a hairstylist at Salon 259 in Bethlehem, PA, I thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service while adapting to new trends and techniques.

In addition to my salon work, I am proud to serve as an educator with Keune Haircosmetics, where I facilitate classes for salon professionals, sharing my expertise in hairstyling and product knowledge. This role has allowed me to further expand my reach within the industry, empowering others to elevate their craft and stay on the cutting edge of beauty trends.

My ultimate goal is to merge my marketing background with my passion for beauty by helping brands develop products that resonate with both consumers and professionals. I’m always open to new connections and opportunities that challenge me to grow and innovate in my career.
