About me
My name is Lauren Ashley but you can call me LA for short. I would like to consider myself a "Queen of all trades". I am a mom to a 6 year old, I am a singer/vocal coach/barber and soon to be hair therapist . I've been singing for over 20+ years and teaching for 6. I'm also a MUA, and have been doing makeup for almost 10 years and currently in Cosmetology school to be licensed in all things beauty. I've had a love for hair since I was 6, (unknowingly, until my mom told me) and have now started my journey to becoming a great stylist for all hair types. I pride myself in my work and hope to one day own my own shop. But in the meantime, I am currently building my clientele and excited for this next chapter In my life. My goal is to create a life for my family where I can be there to watch my baby girl grow while also making my own hours and building generational wealth for my daughter and the ones to come.

Why I'm here
I'm here to sharpen my skills, gain knowledge, education (there's always much to learn) confidence and creativity. No offense to those who work 9-5, but I feel I have more to give than working for someone else. Being my own boss is something I never knew I wanted until having a child. I also never thought I could be a boss until starting cosmetology school. It's definitely opened my eyes and has shown me, so far, that life is what you make it and that hard work, dedication, and consistency are the keys to success.
