Hello,

        I'm Laurenice! I am a recent graduate of Aveda Institute located in New Orleans, LA. Just because I am fresh out of school.....means nothing! I have been doing hair since I was 10 going to my aunt's hair salon sitting and watching her all day without asking questions so I copy what she did on my dolls or my step-sister's hair just to show my aunt with pride later. That skill has stuck with me since I was young. Not only do I love learning I am also a fast learner. It may be the Gemini in me but I love researching new topics, techniques, and opportunities to advance in every category in my life.
When my client's appointment ends I want them to not only be happy with the way they look in the mirror but I want to influence them so we all elevate our mindset with uplifting thoughts and boost our bodies as well with proper nourishment. I'm not afraid to take risks and try new advancing ways of doing things. I am a strong team member but I take the lead if necessary. While I attended Aveda Institue I was able to participate in a hair show and be one of the hairstylists for the New Orleans Pelicans dance team. I was also able to be a part of an #EssenceFest event as a hairstylist. I feel as though I started late in my career so I am taking every opportunity that comes to my way and that will benefit my future.
