Hello, I’m Leylanie — a master stylist and beauty industry professional with over 12 years of experience specializing in luxury color, precision cutting, and hair and scalp integrity.
My foundation is behind the chair, where I’ve built a loyal clientele through thoughtful consultations, customized care strategies, and results-driven services. I approach hair as both an art and a science — with a strong understanding of product performance, formulation technology, and how education influences long-term client retention and retail success.
Beyond servicing clients, I’m passionate about industry growth. I’ve mentored emerging stylists, provided hands-on education, and continuously invested in advanced training to stay aligned with evolving trends and innovation. Why I'm here
The hair industry found me. My childhood was spent on the weekends going to the hair salon spending hours there while my mom came out a new woman. She was so knowledgeable on haircare and the tools necessary to make my hair look as fabulous. Over the years she would introduce me to different hot tools, and over time I would become obsessed with perfecting how to use them. As I became a teenager, doing my friends hair and makeup allowed me to bond with them on a deeper level while simultaneously enhancing their natural beauty. Its an honor and a privilege that people continue to put trust in me. To invest their time, money, and permission to see them in a vulnerable state. That is the greatest gift this industry has given me. It is why I continue to work as hard and place my self in positions to elevate my skill.
My journey to get here was not linear at first. I did attend college and studied other interest such as music, and healthcare. But ultimately the void as it pertained to my career continued to be felt. At 21 I enrolled myself into cosmetology school and it's been everything I envisioned it would be. I know I have only scratched the surface of what I am capable of. I am grateful for a platform such as Beautista to allow us creatives community, opportunity, and elevation of the best industry in the world.
