Louisa Peterson

Hi my name is Louisa!Here is a little bit about myself so you can  get to know me better.  I have always been a very artistic person. I grew up in a household where I was free to express my creative passion, even if it was painting and coloring all over my bedroom door. I found out early on that I was much more interested in painting and drawing more than i was in academics. When I graduated high school, I took a couple years off. I was stumped on what career to choose that I could really thrive in. It seemed impossible to find the right job to express myself and feel confident in. I slowly started leaning towards cosmetology school, and that is when I came across Paul Mitchell. Once I started school,  I felt that creative part of me spark up again. It was finally something I had passion for, I found my niche. My Parents taught me when I was young to smile at every person I met and to say hello. As most children, I was very shy and had a hard time socialising until I was taught this. Once I caught on to this habit, it formed me into the person I am today. Paul Mitchell teaches us similar habits. They teach us that kindness is key, and that we have no idea what other people are going through in their lives. This is why it is so important to be kind to others. Working in this industry is all about understanding one another, and building each other up.I have already had an amazing experience with a client that came in for a simple cut and color service. She changed my day with the way she communicated and expressed herself. I did my best to not only give her a pleasant experience & create the look she wanted, but to listen and understand her. It is rewarding to build confidence in people & to accomplish something that you absolutely love doing. I am so excited for my future with hairdressing, and I can’t wait to find a job where I can grow and learn more.
