Luana Stavar

A licensed professional hair artist for over 6 years; Luana Stavar is also a salon owner, designer, mentor, educator and Truss Brand Ambassador.

Luana’s passion for hair is undeniable. She strives to be the best artist she can be by continuing to push her creativity to another level. At the same time, she encourages fellow hair artists to do what they love through education and styling.

Luana has risen to the top of the professional hair industry, but it has not been without hard work and dedication to her craft.

Early Years
Luana was born in Belem Para, Brazil. When Luana was 14 years old, she moved to the United States.
As an adult, Luana’s passion for the beauty industry and hair styling grew and she knew that she wanted to pursue a career in cosmetology, with a focus on hair artistry.

In 2014” Luana graduated from Artistic Academy cosmetology school. After receiving her license she began her career at Dieci. She knew that she eventually wanted to become her own boss and in 2019Luana, along with another stylist, opened East Coast Salon, in Wayne, New Jersey. She also received education through the Truss Professional brand and became an Brand Specialist for the company. In 2020, they expanded East Coast Salon to Denville, New Jersey, where she had the opportunity to bring in more stylists and also began to teach her techniques to other stylists.

Today
In 2022, with her love for teaching other stylists, and in order to expand as an educator, she decided to independently open a smaller scale salon allowing her the flexibility to do all that she loves within the industry.

Luana opened East Coast Studio, in Madison, New Jersey. This new opportunity and expansion of her brand is allowing her to continue to provide her clients with extremely personalized services to meet their specific hair dreams all while continuing to educate fellow stylists and allowing her to share her passion for hair and knowledge of her craft.

Accolades
Luana had the honor of being nominated in two categories and receiving the award for “Best Salon Decor” at the 2021 Behind the Chair awards. It was an honor to be nominated and recognized for this award.
