Luna Salahie

Makeup has been a source of comfort for me since my early years. When I left my home country of Syria at the age of 15 to start a new life in the United States, it meant leaving behind everything I knew. Among the few things I carried with me was my passion for art and creativity, which, in the form of makeup, became my coping mechanism for adapting to change.

My love for makeup and beauty has been a constant companion, accompanying me through life's ups and downs. At 18, I found myself in a physically abusive relationship, and makeup became my shield to conceal the bruises – in the process, I became proficient in color theory. Makeup allowed me to present a facade of strength to the world and to be whoever I aspired to be.

When I became a mother to my beautiful daughter, it was heartening to see her inherit my love for art. Even as we escaped from my abuser, my humble makeup bag remained by my side. This marked the beginning of my journey and career in the world of makeup, driven by a desire to help people feel better, more confident, and experience the same comfort that makeup had given me during my struggles. My aim was to bring joy to people's lives.

I discovered my true calling in an industry where I could rapidly grow as a makeup artist. My clients can attest to my genuine passion for my work, my unwavering commitment to ensuring perfection, and the love I pour into each job. My passion extends beyond makeup; I also find immense joy in the world of fashion, from runway work to creative photoshoots.

Learning, creating, connecting with people, and brightening their days are what I live for. My ultimate goal is to continue growing in this industry and to share the beauty that I can create with as many people as possible, making them feel truly beautiful in every sense of the word.
