Mackenzie Nye

Hi! My name is Mackenzie Nye and I am an 18 year old aspiring hairstylist attending Paul Mitchell the School at MTI college. Ever since I understood what you could do with hair, ive always had a drive for braiding and wanting to style everyone's around me. I have a very creative mind and I love to express that. For me, I believe that this industry calls my name. I've done hair and makeup for both proms and weddings which I have such a love for.

Throughout my years of school, I struggled immensely in almost everything. Once I graduated and everyone around me was getting into college and moving on, that just wasn't something that interested me in the slightest. I new immediately that going to school for something I'm so passionate about was the right way to go. Along with school, I've also struggled with many self confidence issues. Something so important to me because of that is to make people smile and help them feel beautiful in their own skin.
