Hi, I’m Maddie Preskitt! I’m currently a cosmetology student at Ogle School in Dallas, Texas, with plans to graduate in mid-May (and working toward finishing early). I’ve been passionate about hair for as long as I can remember—long before I was in cosmetology school, I was the girl getting told“This isn’t beauty school,” because I already knew this was exactly where I wanted to be.
During my time in school, I’ve found a passion for creating dimensional, personalized results and enjoy the technical aspects of the work. I’m motivated by continued learning and love refining my skills as I grow in the industry.
My long-term goal is to specalize in blondes, color, and extensions. Im excited to continue learning in a professional salon environment while building lasting relationships with clients.

I’m here because I want people to feel beautiful, confident, and truly seen. We’ve all had those disappointing salon experiences that leave us feeling unlike ourselves, and I want to change that. Hair is more than just hair—it’s a big part of how we show up in the world and how we feel when we look in the mirror. My goal is to create predictable, trustworthy results so every client feels safe in my chair and confident in the outcome. I care deeply about listening, understanding, and delivering styles that reflect who my clients are, not just what’s trending. When someone leaves my chair feeling more like themselves, uplifted and empowered, that’s what makes this work meaningful to me.
