Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamed of becoming a cosmetologist. Although my family is concerned for my financial stability in this career path, I am determined to live a life where my workplace is my vacation rather than a dreaded daily task to generate income. Fortunately, I was granted the opportunity to start my career earlier than expected through my high school's Careerline Tech Center program where I finished most of my freshman cosmetology hours at the cost of my school. This opportunity gave me a huge push towards success in my dream career and I am now in my senior year of cosmetology school at Tulip City Beauty College in Holland Mi. Although my school is in Holland I intend to work in Grand Rapids once I acquire my license and eventually I want to own my own salon.
