About me
Hiiiii, my name is Madison Akins, & I'm a 23 year old cosmetologist in training! I currently attend Aveda Arts and Sciences Institute in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Growing up I've always had a love for doing hair and makeup, but my journey started out at a 4 year university. I attended Southeastern Louisiana University in the fall of 2019, & soon realized that I wasnt happy where I was at. So, I started touring cosmetology schools & found that Aveda was the perfect fit for me!
Now that I have started my new journey I have so much that I want to accomplish. Someday hoping to become one of the most successful travel hairstylist working for big brands like Vogue, NYFW, Forbes, etc.
I can't wait to see where life takes me down this amazing new path that I've embarked down!!

I am here to take on new opportunities and really broaden my horizon. In the past I have been my biggest obstacle, and now I just want to challenge myself to doing new things, and participating in new experiences. Im hoping to just put myself out there more so I can be prepared for whatever life throws my way!
