Makayla Howard

Hello! I am currently a student at Bellus Academy in the Little Apple, otherwise know as Manhattan, KS. Bellus' unique program blends European technique with American technology. During my time at Bellus, I will be learning about body treatments, cosmetic products, skin health, facial treatments, chemical exfoliations, hair removal, makeup design and much, much more!

I love that I will have the ability to help my clients feel refreshed and better about themselves. Life is difficult and the stress of it can make one feel rundown and overwhelmed. Having the potential to uplift the weary and place a smile on their face will be the most rewarding experience.

After finishing my associates degree from Allen Community College in Iola, Kansas, I decided that I wanted to fulfill my passion for skin care and makeup, so I enrolled at Bellus Academy. I currently drive back and forth from my hometown, Topeka, Kansas, where I live with my parents and 3 siblings. I am scheduled to graduate in the fall and look forward to starting my own business doing what I love!

In my free time, I like to practice my newly learned skills on my family members. When I am not doing that, I enjoy training my bernedoodle, Moose, who will hopefully one day become a seizure assist dog for my youngest sister, Charli.
