Makea Burrage

My name is Ma’kea Burrage  a hair stylist in Wisconsin. I’m passionate about the entire industry. Being teachable is very important to me. I’v invested in myself through our the years of my career. Education is super big in this line of work. I can truly say what fuels me is pouring back into me guest. I don’t just want to make their day better but I want to impact their lives. I understand that my presence can either speak volumes or greatness or destruction on my behalf. Being a positive influence of greatness is the impact i want to have on not only my guest but others I encounter. When I say greatness I don’t mean being better than anyone else but just being ME! I’v learned that people respect whats real and thats what makes me comfortable (being me) when I was 8 years old I had the honor of being my mothers State Board model for her Cosmetology license.(she passed) I knew then that I wanted to follow in her footstep and the love for this industry was planted in me back then. Later on in life i quit my corporate job at a major bank and decided to follow MY dreams. I’v been running and reaching my goals every since. I understand that humility is key in my life. I know that every door opened for me is a blessing and I’d never take that for granted. Walking in Victory and my purpose is priceless. Im looking to continue to reach more goals and be confident in whatever I find my hands to do. I’m looking to embrace the gift thats within me and be the best I can be.
