Malia Colombo

Hi! My name is Malia Colombo. I am currently an esthetics student at Innovate Salon Academy progressing in my goal to own my own salon/spa. I have always been interested with all things beauty and after getting my bachelors degree in psychology, I realized that I wanted to take a chance on myself and start to do what I really love.

My passion for esthetics began when I was in elementary school after receiving a children's makeup set for my birthday. I used it almost every day until I upgraded to "real makeup". I would practice on my family and friends for fun while trying different methods and techniques. I always knew deep down that the beauty industry was for me, but it took me a while to realize it. After trying several different career paths, I have finally found the one I'm meant to stay in and the one that makes me happy.
