Hi!I'm Margaret Phillips, also known as Maggie.My interest in the industry stretched all the way from my childhood, I loved giving fake haircuts and always loved going to the nail salon with my mom! I always knew I wanted to pursue something very artistic, and cosmetology just fits that for me! During school, I was apart of some of the teams at school and I took my responsibilities as serious learning experiences. I was part of the Green Team, Take Home Team, and Student Council. In Student Council, I was voted to be president. Take Home team taught me a lot of vital retail skills, mainly with product knowledge and inventory and stocking skills. During this COVID-19 pandemic, I took the responsibility very seriously as a future professional at my school. I completed both Lucas-Cide Disinfectant and Barbicide Disinfectant Courses and a Milady Infection Control Course. I am a committed professional for the safety of both staff and guests. I am a very passionate person about education and helping guests learn! While I am licensed in cosmetology, I mainly love nails and hair. I love teaching people about products and what may help guests to achieve their goals, especially helping them maintain their looks at home.Within hair, I flow towards women's hair cutting, styling, along with hair coloring. I feel comfortable working with all hair textures and formations with any service. With coloring services, I feel that I just need to be educated within the hair color brand! For my interest within nails, I can do gel and natural nail manicures. I love nail art and I treat them like mini pieces of art!
