My name is Maria Fernandez I am a passionate and enthusiastic cosmetology student at Paul Mitchell the school at NYC. From a young age, I’ve been attracted to the world of beauty, from experimenting with makeup and hair styling with friends and family, to pursuing a career in the field. Despite facing skepticism from others who do not see it as a “real profession,” I have followed my heart and passion to help others through the art of beauty. Though I ventured into the health field to fulfill my desire to assist others, my true passion never wavered. My ultimate goal is to use my skills and knowledge to empower individuals and help them discover their own unique beauty, and to express themselves confidently.
