Live for today because tomorrow is never guaranteed
I'm 25 years old and I have two beautiful children. I graduated high school in 2015 and left for the Army a month after I graduated. I spent four years active duty doing Human Resources then got out and worked as a civilian for the Army doing basically the same job. I finally decided a desk job wasn't for me and that I wanted to pursue my actual dream which was going to cosmetology school.
When I was about 9 years old my brother had a girlfriend that was attending Paul Mitchell The School Michigan. Every time she came over she would have a different hair color or hairstyle and she always had the most beautiful makeup. I went to the school with my mom and I instantly fell in love. In middle school I would always trim my friends hair and experiment with their bangs. I would also dye mine and my sisters quite often. When I had kids I started to realize that life is too short to not pursue your dreams. I didn't want my children growing up thinking that it's better to settle just because it's the easier option. I wanted to show them that it's never to late to start over. So my "why" is to chase my dreams and show my kids that anything can be possible if you give it a chance.
