Hi everyone! I am originally from Texas but I've lived in Washington for a few years now. When I'm not at school I will usually stay home and watch Netflix or go to the mall. When I graduated high school I was not sure what I wanted my career to be. At the time I was working in a daycare and thought it would be an easy choice to become a teacher, even though I was not passionate about the career. I quickly realized that, that wasn't the right choice, and I built up the courage to tell my parents that I wanted to enroll in a cosmetology school. They were very supportive and it made me feel happy to know I was going to start a new journey about what I'm most passionate about. My great grandmother was the only other hairstylist that has been in my family. She owned her own salon in Puerto Rico for 45 years and she is one of my greatest inspirations. I'm very excited to continue my education and become an amazing cosmetologist.
