I'm a 19 year old cosmetology student studying at Paul Mitchell The School Chicago. I started in November of last year and even though it has been one of my hardest years I continue to strive for my passion.

I am here to pursue my dream and passion as a licensed cosmetologist. I didn't always know I wanted to be a cosmetologist, I actually struggled my junior and senior year with what I wanted to do in the future because I was trying not to disappoint my mom since she wanted me to go to a 4 year college, but I also knew deep down that I didn't have an interest in college. I did find hair cutting and coloring so interesting and that's when I knew my senior year that that's what I wanted to do in the future even if it meant disappointing my mom for a while but later on she learned to accept the fact that no matter what she did she wasn't going to be able to "force me" or "change my mind" into going to college like my older sister.
