About me
Hi, my name is Maritza Roman a student in the process of getting her manicuring license. I am 18 years old, and came from a Latino family with two hardworking parents, Doricela my mother and Miguel my father. I am The youngest of three older sisters, Fabiola, Jazmin, and Doricela. Jazmin introduced me to acrylic nails when I was 13 years of age. She helped sponsor me for the products that were worth it with no interest lol! Little by little I grew to love how challenging doing nails actually was. Later with much practice every day I grew my skill into not only knowing how to do acrylic nail extensions with tips and forms, but also gel manicures, dry and wet pedicures, and nail repair!

Why I'm here
I’m here because what started as a simple interest in nails at 13 has grown into something I truly enjoy and want to build a future around. Learning how to do nails challenged me to be patient, creative, and dedicated. With practice, I’ve been able to turn that interest into skills in acrylic extensions, gel manicures, pedicures, and nail repairs.
I’m here to continue learning, improving my skills, and becoming the best nail technician I can be. In the long term, my goal is to build a successful career in the beauty industry, continue growing my skills, and eventually have my own nail business or salon. I want every set I create to show my growth, creativity, and passion for this career.
