Hello all! My name is Maya and I'm 25 years old. I chose the beauty community because I've always had a love for skincare and make up since I was a kid. I remember my mom always fussing at me because I was playing in her make up at a young age. I've always wanted to start my beauty career earlier in life but I wasn't confident in my skills or in myself so I tried the 4 year college route and ended up not finishing because it wasn't something I really wanted to do. I've experienced so many hardships along with way and now I'm at the point where I want to start walking in my truth and striving towards the life I deserve, so here I am. Finally doing something for me, and what I love.
