About me
I am a mother of 3. I have a 15, 13 and 3 year old. I currently attend Paul Mitchell and have a job as a shampoo tech at Josephines Day Spa and Salon. I also received a scholarship/ internship for Sephora so I work there part time too. I work to pay for school and daycare. I did receive my Bachelors Degree with a major in criminal justice and at one point I wanted to be an FBI agent but the process wasn’t as easy as invisioned. I’ve always loved to do hair and make up. I was a make up artist for about 5 years until I moved to Killeen, Texas and left all my clientele in Houston therefore I had to stop doing make up. I decided to apply at Paul Mitchell so that I could make my dreams become reality as a professional make up artist and hairdresser. I put it off for so long but now I will be accomplishing my goal!

Why I'm here
I’m here because I feel that this will be a better opportunity for me. I love the cosmetology industry, from doing hair to doing make up and just making people feel beautiful. I’m such a hands on person, I have to be moving around and doing something at all times and I think that’s why I love doing hair and make up. I’m also a very visual person therefore I learn better by watching someone teach rather than learning online. Being part of Paul Mitchell has definitely taught me a lot so far and gave me insight on how the beauty industry works, as we say salon reality. I’m here to build a future to better my life and my childrens lives as well. They are who I do what I do, for them and their future. I want them to see that their mother worked hard and tried the best she could to pursue her goals and accomplish so much.
