Mel | Redken Artist | Chattanooga Hairstylist

I'm a hairstylist from Miami, recently relocated to Chattanooga, TN. My hair journey began when I was in 1st grade cutting my own bangs in school. My cosmetokogy journey in freshman year of highschool and graduated with my license in 2015, granting me over 15 years of experience and 11 years licensed as of 2026. I grew up poor with a disabled mom living without power in the house often. It made me stubborn, unwilling to fail and relentless to grow. Without a carbor any financial help, I took two busses and a metro to and from the salon and attended every free hair class I could find. I hustled and built up an amazing clientele over the years and started mentoring other stylists to grow. Today I am grateful to call myself a Redken Artist, to have had opportunities to do hair at the Grammys, and to get to travel for vacation and create beautiful hair and make unforgettable connections with clients and other beauty pro. I can't wait for more, and to take as many people as I know with me!
